I've got Firefox 2.0.0.18 (Win XP SP2) and I can longer post new threads, nor reply to threads.

this behavior just started a few days ago.

I'm posting this message via IE.

PLEASE help!

Two things:
1. Have you cleared your cache?
2. Would it be possible to upgrade to Firefox 3 - I am using that now and have no problems.

What is it doing? Are you getting some sort of error?

I clear my cache and all my other private data each time I log off the laptop.

As for the behavior of the error... NOTHING happens when I click on "reply" or "new", absolutely nothing...

I have to admit that this is one of the more frustrating aspects of this "New and improved" site this year....

Things change and there are NO ANNOUNCEMENTS, then things break and I have to upgrade my browser to fix them?

NO WAY.

I work in IT and if I treated my end users like this, I'd be fired!

THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING FOR ME. 

For instance, the upgrade of the website 3 weeks before the season starts... NOT GOOD GUYS.  I know how it is, you can't test everything, but you CAN test MOST everything, you're not going to tell me you can't.  I work in networking/systems/security/infrastructure so I know how it is... it's a PAIN IN THE A$$, it takes a lot of planning and testing, but IT CAN BE DONE.

Seriously, good thing you guys own this site, because if you were working for someone else, you'd probably be out of a job.

Sorry I'm venting, but I guess I've reached my limit this year...

The ENTIRE site gets revamped.. OK, I'll deal
It's harder to navigate ( especially at first).. OK, I'll deal.
NO ONE is on the Platinum message board compared to previous years... THIS SUCKS.
I post a message and at times NO ONE REPLIES for DAYS... Yep, no one is using this site... time to start looking around...sigh.
Now I can't perform a mundane action like reply to a message.... Yep, it's REALLY time to haul a$$ to another site.

Not cool guys... I like the feel of community at this site, but it seems like that communty has shrunk by 200%.

For the price of a Platinum subscription, I guess I expect more.
I LOVE the draft predictor.. other than that, I've been dissapointed this year.

I don't want to have to upgrade to FireFox 3, I'm lazy and work on stupid computers all day at work and don't feel like fixing a problem when I get home, I JUST WANT IT TO WORK (Woo Hoo! I get to play the part of a whiny end-user!!! I LOVE IT!!).

I just want to be able to reply to posted messages within my favorite browser without upgrading it.

PLEASE HELP!  ( or at least an explanation would be nice...).

There are a lot of people that still use firefox 2 and have no issues. There havn't been any changes in the last few days that would cause a problem either. My guess is that it's something specific to your machine. Maybe an add-on, or virus scanner.

brewer, just to double check things I downloaded your version of Firefox and tested it and it worked fine. Have you added anything or installed anything on your computer in the last few days?

I haven't installed any toolbars or anything like that.
I'm going to try to run Spybot and see if it comes up with anything.
I may end up upgrading to FF version 3.
I'll let you know how it goes.

I just upgraded to FireFox ver 3.0.4, working fine now.
